For a special card accent or pin, stamp a few layers of patterned paper or color images. Cut them out, then put them together and emboss. It only looks hard!

Q:Loretta asked: "Where do you find the paper for clear cards? I think you call it acetate paper? I have looked everywhere. also, do you have to use Stazon™ or what kind [of ink]?"
A: You can find them at any office supply store. Just look for transparencies. You can also order clear cardstock weight transparencies from Flourishes.
Genna has a suggestion for Shaker Cards: "I've made some shaker cards using the plastic bubble packaging that so many things (including scrapbooking supplies) come in. If you buy something in a plastic bubble that's stapled or glued to a cardboard backing make sure you open it carefully and keep hold of the plastic for mounting onto your card later. The plastic comes in all shapes and sizes and lets you get really creative with what you use for your shaker material."
